Steve Winter Appointed as Managing Director of SAP UK and Ireland

FELTHAM, United Kingdom — August 08, 2011 — SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today announced the appointment of Steve Winter to Managing Director of SAP UK and Ireland (UKI) effective as of beginning of September. He replaces Tim Noble who was recently promoted to head of Emerging Markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In this role, Winter will be responsible for working closely with customers in supporting them to achieve their strategic goals as well as executing SAP’s UKI’s business strategy.

Previously, Winter served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of SAP North America, gaining a wealth of experience in the role. During his time as COO in North America, he led a number of key teams including the Premier Customer Network Centre of Excellence, Business Operations, Ecosystems & Alliances, Small and Midsize Enterprises (SME), Value Engineering, and Sustainability teams. During his six year tenure at SAP, Winter has also held positions of Executive Vice President of Enterprise Sales for SAP North America and led Enterprise Sales in both the Midwest and Southwest regions. Prior to SAP he was at PeopleSoft for 12 years where he worked in various executive sales management roles.
