UK & Ireland SAP User Group names Conor Riordan as new Chair

London – 17 April 2024 – The UK & Ireland SAP User Group (UKISUG) has announced the appointment of Conor Riordan as its new Chair, succeeding Paul Cooper. Conor is currently Director of Customer Service & Experience EMEA at Pfizer. He has over 25 years’ experience working with SAP across multiple organisations having managed over 30 implementations including 2 global rollouts. He has been an active UKISUG member since 2010, serving as Vice Chair for the last two years.

“Being a member of UKISUG has been a major support to my career. It’s therefore a great honour and humbling experience to take on the very important role of UKISUG Chair,” commented Conor Riordan. “Many of our members are at critical inflection points regarding their multiyear programs to S/4HANA and SAP Cloud. UKISUG has a key role to play in providing strategic insights, customers stories, education and resources our members need to optimally plan and execute their SAP journeys.”

UKISUG currently has more than 6,500 individual members registered from nearly 700 organisations. It aims to facilitate networking, knowledge exchange and best practice amongst SAP users. As UKISUG continues to grow and create a vibrant SAP community, it plans to target more line of business users and the next generation of technology talent as they pursue a career in SAP.

“The strength of UKISUG is our community and I look forward to representing our members both locally and globally,” added Riordan. “As a user group it is important that we continue to evolve and remain relevant, especially as the pace of technology change shows no sign of slowing down.
