We are back in Birmingham but at a new venue. This year we will be at the ICC, which is one of the UKs leading conference venues. This is certainly a great indication of how much the conference has grown in recent years. We are also pleased to announce that this years Gala Dinner will be taking place at Edgbaston, which is only appropriate considering it is an Ashes year!
Two of our external keynote speakers have been confirmed. We are delighted that SAPs Co-CEO Jim Hagemann Snabe is returning as our main keynote speaker. This will be the second time in four years that Jim has keynoted, so it is a great coup for the User Group and our members. We are also pleased to welcome Mandy Hickson as a keynote speaker. Mandy was one of the first female pilots to serve in a front line GR4 squadron, playing an active role in the conflict in Iraq. From motivation to decision-making, Mandy will be giving a vivid insight into the leadership, teamwork and communication required to define and then realise specific goals in high-pressure situations.
Our conference programme is also taking shape. As ever, the programme has been designed based on the feedback of our members, to ensure they get the insight they need. Details of our conference streams can be found here. We are also intending to include Lost Knowledge and Tips & Tricks sessions to enable users to improve their usability of SAP.
