The countdown to UKISUG CONNECT commences

Published on

Although it doesn’t feel like long ago that we were celebrating another successful User Group conference, nine months have flown by and the countdown to 2016’s UKISUG CONNECT now begins. From the 20th-22nd November, we’ll be returning to the International Conference Centre in Birmingham, with over 500 SAP customers and 65 exhibitors. The conference will feature over 90 hours of education for attendees, delivered by over 100 SAP experts in seven keynote speeches and in more than 100 specialist breakout sessions. In addition, with a minimum of 16 hours of networking for delegates, 2016’ UKISUG CONNECT promises to be even bigger and better than before.

The conference is spread over three days, and with many years of SAP experience all under the same roof, it’s the perfect arena for attendees to network and collaborate with peers. On Sunday the 20th, the main Exhibition Hall will open and there are eight interactive workshops to choose from, followed by an informal networking session with excellent food, drink and entertainment. Events kick off in earnest on Monday 21st with the first set of keynotes. These keynotes will come from several SAP speakers, including Hala Zeine, SVP of SAP Portfolio and Commercialization Strategy. Hala advises the SAP Executive Board on all investment decisions in SAP’s product portfolio and related business models, so it will be fascinating to hear her thoughts on the future direction of the company’s products.

Attendees will also get the chance to hear from the chair of the UKISUG, Philip Adams, regarding the User Group’s activities over the last 12 months, and how it will continue to support SAP users. Following the opening keynotes, attendees can enjoy a full day of learning, knowledge sharing and education, with a choice of 60 breakout sessions across 11specialist streams. These streams encompass everything from S/4 HANA, to payroll, to digital transformation – offering something for everyone. In addition, we will be running SAP Business ByDesign and SAP Business One Special Interest Groups during the conference. The packed Monday will finish with the return of SUGFest, where delegates can unwind, relax and network.

Tuesday the 22nd offers another full programme – beginning with a keynote from Will Kintish, a recognised motivational speaker, on how to get the most out of your business networking both at the conference and back on the day job. After Will’s keynote, there is another choice of breakout sessions for attendees that run until the conference close.
