Events to look forward to this year from the UKISUG

Published on

At the User Group, we like to keep busy, hosting over 100 events each year for our 4,000 members – from symposia to Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to webinars. Every year, our events calendar keeps growing; just last month we created a new Developers SIG to help address the challenges that DevOps can present. In this blog, we look just a few of the event highlights of the coming year.

In February, we will be holding our Ireland SIG. The event will feature a demonstration of modern BI and analytic apps using the latest BusinessObjects tools, as well as a BI strategy roadmap that will inform users of the new features of the latest SAP BI platform. March will see the S/4 HANA SIG take place in Maidenhead, where Andy Steer, CTO of consulting specialist itelligence UK, will present on how users can best implement S/4 HANA. Also at this event will be the team from toy company, TOMY, who will talk about their own S/4 HANA journey. And, following this event, a special S/4 HANA event for enterprise architects will take place at the end of March.

In April, the Analytics Symposium will again bring the Big Data, Business Intelligence and Reporting SIGs together to create a single event for SAP users. The event will connect like-minded users, helping them to learn new skills from SAP experts, and build on their professional networks. Last year’s Analytics Symposium was a great success, and was praised by SAP users for being ‘enjoyable and informative.’ In June, our User Experience Symposium in Dublin will give SAP users the tools to design, refine and maintain a consistent user experience for their solutions.

And of course, looking ahead as far as November, our User Group conference, UKISUG Connect 2017, will return to the Birmingham International Convention Centre (ICC). The conference is always well attended, and offers attendees an excellent opportunity to listen to a line-up of distinguished keynote speakers, and attend over 100 breakout sessions. To find out more about the conference, you can register your interest in UKISUG 2017 here. You can also revisit some of the highlights from UKISUG 2016 here.
