SAP users: Learn to get more from machine learning

Published on

More business than ever are adopting machine learning technology as a part of the push towards digital transformation. A computer with the ability to identify patterns and make connections almost instantly with enormous sets of data, has opened the door for greater business efficiencies. In fact, research firm Allied Market Research has predicted that spending on cognitive computing, which encompasses AI technologies such as machine learning and natural language processing, is set to rise to $13.7 billion by 2020 across the globe.

For SAP, these benefits have not gone unnoticed, and the company has begun embedding machine learning intelligence into its cloud platform and applications with its own Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform, SAP Clea. Clea provides SAP users with a range of tools to utilise machine learning that will integrate with their existing SAP landscapes. However, it’s one thing to have machine learning capabilities, and another thing altogether to understand how these tools will deliver real benefits to your organisation.

From implementing machine learning into data analytics to generate faster insights, enabling greater automation and basic decision making, and to reducing repetitive manual tasks – every organisation will have different requirements and potential use cases. In order to utilise machine learning effectively, organisations need to understand which solutions are available, what are the benefits, and how they can implement them successfully.

In order to help SAP users to understand how machine learning can be used to benefit their organisation, UKISUG is hosting a webinar on the 25th of April, where the user group will be outlining SAP’s plans for machine learning with SAP Clea, and explaining how it can benefit organisations of all sizes and type.
