Navigating SAP Payroll across the UK and Ireland

Published on

With more than 285 pieces of legislation currently affecting payroll, and more on the way, it’s an ongoing challenge for payroll professionals to keep up to date with the latest regulations.

For those managing payroll with SAP, we host several events throughout the year to help organisations to manage payroll legislation, collaborate and share knowledge with other members of the payroll community. Users will also be able to work with SAP’s payroll team in order to ensure they are aware of how each new bill affects their payment software.

Early next year we will be hosting our first Payroll SIG of 2019, bringing members together to learn about the latest upcoming legislation, share best practice tips, and offer them the chance to quiz SAP directly on its Payroll solutions. This year we will be accepting pre-submission for questions from registered delegates, so feel free to get in touch with any queries or concerns and we’ll be sure you get an answer from SAP.

Some User Group members and SAP customers will be also be running sessions during the event offering advice based on their experiences, with more information coming soon. The SIG will take place at SAP’s offices in Middlesex on the 13th February 2019.

For our Irish members, we will also be hosting an Irish HR and Payroll SIG at BearingPoint in Dublin on the 24th of January. This event will cater to regional payroll challenges and regulations such as SMART PAYE. SAP Product Specialist, Bianca Ball, will be discussing the regulation in detail, before offering a retrospective on 2018 alongside Senior SAP Software Developer, Zoltán Birkás. Finally, Irish Government agency, Revenue Commissioners, will also present some advice for PAYE modernisation before the event winds down for lunch and networking.
