Helping users along the road to S/4 HANA

Published on

Our member survey last year revealed that 12 per cent of SAP users were currently using S/4HANA. What’s more, a further 70 percent of users said they were planning to implement S/4 HANA in the next three years. With a growing number of organisations beginning their journey toward adopting S/4 HANA, there are several factors users need to consider – from identifying new areas for innovation, to ensuring successful data transfer, to minimising downtime and customer disruption.

For users looking to understand more about the challenges of implementing S/4 HANA, we’ll be hosting our S/4 HANA SIG with SAP consulting firm itelligence on the 28th March at Birmingham City University. The SIG will cover off all the essentials for organisations looking to deploy S/4, from the various routes to S/4 adoption, project experiences when implementing the solution, the predicted benefits, and lessons learned.

During the event, delegates will attend a customer session from David Bigley, Head of IT at Marlow Foods, looking at how the firm has integrated key global processes into S/4 HANA. This event will also see Mike Longden, Head of S/4 HANA for EMEA North at SAP, presenting a session on the future strategy for S/4 HANA and offering technical advice for implementation.

Throughout the year, we will continue to offer support for users at every point on their S/4 HANA Journey. In May, our IoT Symposium will look at how S/4 can ensure IoT projects align with IT and Business Processes. In June, the Intelligent Enterprise Symposium at the Titanic Belfast will feature a number of valuable keynotes, offering breakout sessions on how S/4 HANA can be leveraged to connect enterprise solutions.

As ever, here at the User Group we will continue to keep you up to date with the latest S/4 HANA advice and developments, you can find out more here. If you’d like to share your story at one of the upcoming symposia, please contact Kirsten.boucher@sapusers.org.
