Transitioning to SAP S/4HANA – what do you need to know?

Published on

According to our latest member survey, adoption of SAP S/4HANA is on the rise, with 70% of users stating they were planning to implement the product in the next few years. As such, many organisations are now are at the stage where they are thinking ‘when’ rather than ‘if’ with regards to S/4HANA.

With that in mind, the User Group is at hand to provide members with all the information they need make an informed decision regarding their path towards S/4HANA. Earlier in the year, we held our first S/4HANA SIG, where SAP shared its product roadmap and provided technical advice to help ensure users were ready to make the change. Following the success of that SIG, we will be hosting our second one at our Stockton-On-Tees office on 4th July.

This SIG will feature input from Chris Newdick, Adam Lyons and Paul Smith from SAP, who will demonstrate how S/4HANA can help get your organisation on the road to becoming an intelligent enterprise. In their sessions, they will offer you insights into the value of S/4HANA, practical advice on where to start your journey and explanations on how to plan and execute a successful S/4HANA system conversion.

In addition, you will hear from Shane Scott and Dawn Ingle from Shoosmiths, who will be sharing their real-life S/4HANA migration experience, including practical tips, tricks and the key lessons learned from working with a high proportion of customer code. As ever, there will be an opportunity to ask questions throughout the day, ensuring that you have the all the information you need.
