Welcome to the new UKISUG Directors!

Published on

We have recently concluded our Director’s election process and are delighted to confirm that the calibre of the nominees was so high, the UKISUG Board decided it would greatly support the Board by appointing the two candidates who received the most votes.

Congratulations go to both Greg Turner, VP ERP, Finance & HR at Burberry and Cheryl Millyard, Head of Business Service Centre at Gloucester County Council, who were elected to the board following the election process.

Back in February, the UKISUG Board utilised its ability to co-opt a board member as they were looking to fulfil a specific skillset and Conor Riordan, ERP Director at Pfizer also joined the Board of Directors.

We feel this will further strengthen the board and provides greater diversity of industries and experience amongst the Directors. This should result in us being more representative of our membership.

We sure you will all join us in congratulating and welcoming our three new board members.

Our gratitude goes to the other candidates for their drive to get further involved in UKISUG and making the election field so strong and competitive.

This is also a time to say goodbye to one of our Board members and past Chair, Alan Bowling. Alan is leaving the board following this week's Board meeting, after 20 years of voluntary service with the User Group, numerous of which have been spent on the Board, helping build and shape the User Group to the organisation it is today.

Please join us in thanking Alan for his amazing service to the User Group and wishing him the very best of luck in both his retirement and future endeavours.
