UK&I SAP User Group ‘Highly Commended’ as COVID-19 Hero at the ERP Today Awards

Mental health and wellbeing

Many of us have been affected by the pandemic and the associated mental health challenges whilst working from home. The award recognised the whole programme of mental health and wellbeing initiatives we have rolled out over the last 12-18 months, in conjunction with Thrive. So far, we’ve covered topics such as stress and resilience, the importance of mental health, anxiety reduction, mental health whilst working from home, and mindfulness. But the important thing is the sessions are driven by you, our members. In addition, we have recorded a number of SUGTalks podcast episodes specifically looking at mental health and wellbeing topics.

Local support in Teeside

The award judges also recognised how UKISUG has supported the local community during the pandemic. We donated £5,000 and became a patron of the Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation, who run numerous activities to help people throughout Teesside. UKISUG ensured that the donation we made was distributed across foodbanks in the areas where our team members live.

Be sure to check out our latest mental health and wellbeing events here: https://www.sapusers.org/events and you can also listen to SUGTalks on any good podcasting platform.
